Cristiano Giancola
Cristiano began his career in September 1999 as a Process Technician at CSCS, a company specializing in Semiconductor Packaging. This role involved working in a High-Tech Cleanroom environment. As a Process Technician, he was responsible for the daily operations of the production line, managing processes from wafer back-grinding to wafer singulation.
Following this experience, Cristiano joined HP-Indigo as a Remote Support Engineer. In this role, he provided Technical Support to Italian and French clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to large digital offset printers.
Cristiano Giancola began his career with Graco in 2004, joining the Technical Support Department. During his time in this role, he gained extensive experience with cross-divisional equipment, applications, and customer requirements, developing a deep understanding of the technical aspects of Graco’s products.
In 2010, Cristiano transitioned to the Sales and Marketing Department as a Technical Trainer for the Industrial Division. In this role, he further expanded his expertise by working directly with Applications and field operations, providing valuable training to internal teams and customers alike.
With the increasing demand for High-Quality Training, Cristiano was promoted to Technical Training Supervisor in 2014. In this leadership position, he focused on expanding and developing the training department to meet the evolving needs of Graco’s global network. His initiatives have included the Digitalization Of Training content, with webinars now being an integral part of Graco’s training offerings. His dedication to innovation and continuous improvement has been key to Graco’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge training solutions.
Born to Italian parents, Cristiano is fluent in Italian, French, Dutch, and English, allowing him to connect with a diverse range of partners and customers globally. His extensive experience and multilingual abilities make him a highly valued resource within Graco, ensuring that training is accessible and effective for all audiences.
Interests
Cristiano has a wide range of hobbies and passions, with his greatest enthusiasm centered around winemaking. He enjoys every step of the process, from caring for the vineyard to bottling the finished product. Alongside his love for wine, Cristiano is dedicated to staying active—he regularly works out at the gym and ensures he goes swimming at least once a week.
He also has a deep appreciation for photography, having attended several years of evening classes to refine his skills. In addition to these interests, Cristiano frequently travels to his roots in Abruzzo, where he indulges in the rich flavors of southern Italian cuisine and reconnects with his heritage.
Qualifications
Cristiano graduated in 1999 from KHLim Diepenbeek with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Sciences and Technologies, specializing in Electromechanics with a focus on Business Mechanization. This specialization emphasized the automation, design, and development of automatic production lines. His studies provided him with comprehensive insights into a wide range of technical disciplines, including electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, robotics, PLC technology, design, and structural strength analysis. This diverse technical foundation has been instrumental in shaping his expertise and professional capabilities.
