We are pleased to invite you to the 2K Finishing Sales & Application Training. This course is designed for sales professionals who want to better understand customer requirements, identify the right 2K solution, and communicate its value with confidence.
The focus is not on technical service or repair. Participants will learn how to qualify an application, compare mixing concepts, select the most suitable Graco system, and connect product capabilities to customer benefits such as consistent mix quality, reduced waste, faster color changes, process control, and improved productivity.
Course Content
1. Understanding the Customer Application:
- Learn which questions to ask about materials, mix ratios, pot life, colors, production volume, application method, quality expectations, waste, and current process challenges.
- Compare hand-mixing, sequential, dynamic, and continuous mixing from an application and customer-value perspective.
2. Matching the Application to the Right Solution:
Build a clear overview of the available Graco solutions and when to position each one:
- Promix V: understand its target applications, key differentiators, and customer benefits.
- Additional mixing systems: position the M2K, Promix 2KE, Promix 2KS and 3KS (manual), and Promix PD (manual) according to application complexity, production needs, and investment level.
- Flow meters: recognize where FX250, G250, G3000, G3000HR, Coriolis, and S3000 technologies fit and why meter selection matters to the application.
- Accessories: identify when options such as the 3rd Flush Valve, Air Flow Switch, Catalyst Change, GFB, Pressure Regulators, Manifold, Gun Air ShutOff, Solvent Flow Switch, Auto Dump Kit, PD Lower, PD Valves, and PD Mix Module add customer value or solve a specific application challenge.
3. Application-Based Solution Development:
- Work through realistic customer cases and use available tools and configurators to define an appropriate system, explain the selection, and identify the information still required before quotation.
- Translate application data into a clear proposal built around process reliability, material savings, productivity, finish consistency, and ease of operation.
4. Customer-Focused Product Demonstrations:
Learn how to present the main functions and customer benefits of the following systems without going into service-level technical detail:
- Promix V, Promix 2KE, Promix 2KS, and Promix PD
- Demonstrate the user experience, recipe selection, process visibility, and key differentiators that support the sales conversation.
5. Building the Value Proposition:
- Show how optimized flushing, color changes, and recipe management can reduce solvent and material use, shorten changeover time, and improve production efficiency.
- Connect system features to measurable customer outcomes and build a persuasive value-based recommendation rather than a feature-only presentation.
6. Sales Conversation and Opportunity Development:
- Recognize suitable 2K opportunities and qualify the customer’s process, priorities, and decision criteria.
- Explain key differentiators, address common customer questions, and avoid overspecifying the solution.
- Define the right next step: collect additional application data, arrange a demonstration or trial, prepare a configuration, or develop a quotation.
Why Attend?
By the end of the course, participants will be able to lead a structured 2K application discussion, select and position an appropriate Graco solution, and clearly explain how it can improve the customer’s process and business performance.
The training combines product awareness, application thinking, realistic customer cases, and practical demonstrations to strengthen both sales confidence and solution quality.
We look forward to welcoming you and helping you turn customer requirements into convincing, value-driven 2K finishing solutions.
Warm regards,
The Graco Team
