Dear Distributors,
The 1K Finishing Sales & Application Training is designed to help participants identify customer needs, select the right finishing technology, and confidently position a complete Graco solution.
This course is ideal for salespeople who are new to finishing or want to strengthen their product-selection and customer-conversation skills.

Customer Needs and Solution Selection

Translate a customer’s material, finish-quality, production-rate, and operating-cost requirements into a clear application profile.
Compare AirSpray, Air Assisted, Airless, and Electrostatic technologies using application fit, finish quality, transfer efficiency, speed, and total cost of ownership.
Differentiate AirPro Conventional, HVLP, and Compliant solutions and explain the customer value of each option.
Select and size the appropriate fluid-delivery concept by connecting pressure, flow, ratio, material characteristics, and duty cycle.
Build a complete solution using feeding pumps, manual guns, electrostatic equipment, and accessories—and communicate its operational and commercial benefits.
Recognize sales opportunities, qualify the application, handle common objections, and recommend the next step: trial, quotation, demonstration, or technical validation.

Product Confidence and Service Value

The workbench session connects product knowledge to customer value. Participants will inspect, service, and discuss the following equipment to understand reliability, maintenance needs, differentiators, and upgrade opportunities:
